Created by: Frode M on 28-10-2009 04:25:28 PM Hello, I've got a question about the "Quality: Motion/Sharpness" setting (xConf Video Input Source [1-5] Quality). It appears this is actually a hint to the video encoder (framerate versus resolution), and only affects video streams in a video conference session (?).
It's a bit weird that this configuration setting "belongs" to local video source input numbers, shouldn't it really be associated with a CallId or remote Layout or perhaps a MediaChannel? What if you start a presentation stream with a custom layout (perhaps containing multiple frames)? Is there a way to set the Quality property directly on the presentation stream, or will it just pick the setting from video input in the first frame in the presentation layout?
Any comments and suggestions on how to most efficiently work with this setting would be appreciated.
