Hi,

I am new to JTAPI. This is what I am trying to do:
-> Place a call to a terminal
-> On answer of the call, play an audio file.

I know how to place the call and how to auto answer the call from the terminal side. Can someone guide me how to push an audio file on the call?

Thanks.

Not exactly what you need but Starting 8.5(1) JTAPI supports Agent Greeting which allows agent to playback a pre-recorded greeting into the call.
The API doesnt give a control to play a file directly but allows you to connect to IVR port which plays the media. HTH.

More details on this feature are available in 8.5(1) JTAPI developer guide:

Are you using Agent Greeting feature or playing file using JMF or some other means?
