Created by: Daniele Salladini on 26-11-2012 03:28:19 AM Hi team, I'm using backup procedure that zip and exports DB info from Analitycs, JSON, Index, Search and RDBMS nodes (Steps in migration procedure from WES release 2.5 to 3.0). My need is to make this automatic for daily, weekly and monthly backup. No problem for shell commands (can make a script), but I don't know how disable and enable App and worker nodes in a linux script (these actions are performed from web interface). I think that "enable" and "disable" web functions could be related to something shell script that i could execute directly from my own backup script. Can this way could be right? If yes, which are these scripts in WES nodes? Someone has already done something like this and can give me indications? Thanks, Daniele

Hi Daniele, I don't think there is any references to backing up individual nodes in the admin guide. The only supported way of creating a backup is by following our Disaster Recovery guide. You can refer that which is attached herewith. Regards, Ratnadeep.
