Created by: Jay Hough on 23-05-2012 03:23:26 PM Hey everyone, I have a rack with a Clearcom Tempest 2400 system and a C90 . Everything is working fine. I ran audio out lines from the audio out Channel A and Channel B on the Tempest to the Microphone inputs on the C90.
My goal is to transmit the audio from the beltpacks (clearcom) along with the video and audio feeds from what I am recording, to our production studio.
I am getting audio in from the Clearcom as well as the mic feed from the event I am shooting.
I need to make sure that the mic feed from the event and the audio input from the tempest 2400 are separate entities.
I do not want the broadcast to pick up what is being said over the clearcom.
I usually do not need Stereo sound so can I set the mic feed to mono and the clearcom feed to left ( or right) ? Or is there another way to do this? Thanks for the help.
Subject: RE: C90 Audio Question Replied by: null on 24-05-2012 01:21:54 PM Hi Jay, Have you tried the C Console application to configure the Audio Routing on the C90? http://developer.tandberg.com/web/guest/tools/integrators/tc-console? If not you should, makes audio configuration that much easier!
By default all microphone inputs are defined in one input group on the C90. Sounds like you need to create a new input group for the audio from the tempest. After you have created the new group (press "+ New Input") drag en Microphone connectors that you use for the tempest from the default "Microphone" group in to your new group.
Give it a try with the TC Console and let me know if you get stuck,
Cheers, David
