Hell all,
Does anyone have , or know where I could find, the pinout for a control cable going from a Precistion HD 720p camera (1st camera) to a Sony EVI-D100 camera (second camera)?
Thanks! -Jim

Hi Jim,
EDIT: Changed pin out.
The Sony Cameras are using a DSUB. The pin out of this cable will be (looking at the pins):
6 7 8
3 4 5
1 2
You only need to use 3 of those:
5 = RX to camera
3 = TX to camera
4 = Ground
You can find the RJ11 pin out from the System Integrator Guide downloadable from this site. The RJ11 pin out is the same for both the 720p camera and the 1080p camera.
Based upon this a custom cable should look like this (Note: I have not tested this):
Sony DSUB TANDBERG RJ 11
3 (TX) ------ 4
5 (RX) ------ 3
4 (GND) ------ 1, (GND)
Please update the post if you verify this.
Best regards
Roger

Roger,
Would this cable work when using the 3000 MXP HD codec?
We need to control the Precision HD camera as the primary and the Sony EVI-D30 as the secondary camera.
Thank you.
