Subject: RE: Can we upgrade Cius to 3.0 Replied by: Larry Michalewicz on 26-04-2011 08:08:05 AM There is no "off the shelf" version of Android 3.0 that will run on the Cius or any other device for that matter. So short answer is "no". Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) has not been open sourced at this time. We are working closely with Google on to obtain legal rights to the source code. If we obtain rights to Android 3.0 we will evaluate the business and technical benifits of migrating the Cius to 3.0, and make a decision at that time.

When will CIUS support Android Ice Cream or Honeycomb?
Subject: RE: Can we upgrade Cius to 3.0 Replied by: David Staudt on 29-06-2011 04:18:28 PM As Larry mentions, there are some dependencies from Google on access, but we are eager to evaluate upgrades to Ice-cream/Honeycomb. We don't have any firm dates for now, of course, but please stay subscribed to the Cius developer blog for more news: http://developer.cisco.com/web/cius-developer/blogroll
