Created by: Jayakrishnan Rajagopal on 18-01-2012 11:21:57 AM Hi, We have a deployment where the EX90 and C60 Codec are placed in different networks. And we are having a currently Tandberg VCS Expressway. I know that we can register the EX90 as one endpoint in the VCS. But there is no option to reigster the C60 codec. Here we would like to have a call from C60 codec to EX90. But since I am not able to do the registration on VCS, I would like to know so is this possible only throught TCS or else VCS itself can do this . If VCS Express can do this, can I know what is the procedure ?.
Thanks, JK

You need to enable H.323 and SIP services in the device and make the call setup mode as Gatekeeper.

Just to add to the other answer that was provided - The VCS Expressway is *designed* to allow endpoints from many different networks to register to it. It should be placed in a public IP space (with appropriate protection for management ports). Then any EX, C Series, MX, MXP etc can register to it thru their local firewall, with secure and simple firewall rules.
