Hi Arne Kristian,This isn't really an developer integration topic - more of a product knowledge question that should be handled by your sales support or TAC.But to answer it directly - the default layout of a conference can be manipulated while the conference is running via CCC. In booking, we chose a layout that best tries to match what you have requested for the meeting. If you want the layout of the conference to dynamically update based on the ACTIVE # of participants (not what you scheduled) then that is a function of the current selected layout. The custom layouts do not dynamically change the # of squares - only the default family layouts do this.When TMS creates a conference, the user choses a layout.. VS, CP, ECP. When they chose this, we define a custom layout to use for the conference based on the # of participants booked and their layout choice. Because custom layouts do not auto-grow, you 'lose' the auto growing functionality when booking using the standard layout choices.The reason we do not leave the conference at 'default family view' and define the conference to use a custom view is because what the default family layout is a MCU wide setting on what 'default family view' means. So what happens is the user picks a layout choice in TMS.. and then what happens on the MCU may not match their choice - because we can't change the default family view on a per conference basis. So a user could pick 'voice switched' and end up with a CP layout. Because of this, we don't leave conferences in default family view.If you want the auto-grow functionality, you must define the conference to use the 'default family view'. This can be done on the 'MCU Settings' tab when booking a conference in TMS Booking. Set the layout for the conference to be 'default family view'. Then the conference will start up with custom view disabled.
