Created by: Brad Kirby on 04-03-2011 11:44:03 PM I was approached today by one of the sql programmers for assistance with an API issue he is having accessing the Tandberg Media Asset System. In short, he needs to be able to query the database to populate an internal video indexing database system he is developing. The end goal, is to be able to index the media on file and serve them out on demand.

Subject: RE: Content Server API Replied by: Craig Cockerton on 24-03-2011 05:13:14 AM Brad, sorry we missed your post. We’ve been hanging out in the Content Server forum over at http://developer.tandberg.com/web/guest/forum/-/message_boards/category/18318 - could you please repost your question in that forum?
When you repost we’d like some clarification on what you are asking. Are you asking how to query the Content Server database directly (not supported by the way) or what API calls you should be using to query the Content Server? Are you looking to retrieve the recording URLs, the paths for the recorded media, the metadata etc? Are you wanting to filter these responses at API query time?
Can you please also let us know what you are referring to as the Tandberg Media Asset System?
