Created by: Jonas Kjellberg on 19-10-2011 12:13:18 PM We have created a new layout family and our custom built layouts works perfectly until we choose computer as presentation source. The AMX sends a start presentation command only, no added layouts or frames are sent from the AMX.
We have a C90 connected with three cameras, one pc and everything is controlled by an AMX unit. In the controller room we have two monitors. The layout is created in TC Console.Layout basically is doing the following the left monitor (3) shows remote participants and own main. the right monitor(4) shows all local inputs (3 cameras + 1 PC).
What happens when we press the computer presentation button the custom layout "crashes" instead of using the our custom built layout C90 uses a default layout fullscreen mode instead of the custom layout I have created with TC Console. It does not matter if I choose pc presentation from remote control or push the presentation PC button on the AMX. Same thing happens.
If I choose to use any camera as a presentation source, my custom layout is working as expected. Why is this happening?
After reading through the forums I can see that some customers creates the custom layouts in AMX and sends them to the codec.
Do you recommend to always create/force layout in the AMX and send it to the codec? Can you help me solve this issue?
XML is uploaded. I did create a new xml file from scratch, but the same thing happens. Is it a presentation or input setting i have missed?

I tried your XML but it is still the same problem. Whenever I use computer as presentation source it wont use the custom made layout. I will upload another XML for you and see if you can try to fix this one instead. If I use any other source than PC for presentation, cam1,cam2 or cam3 it is working.
The XML was created with the latest TC Console.

Hi David.
You are absolutely right, we fixed it ourselves last friday evening. Thanks for your help. we solved the problem by a small notice...we saw in the help section of Tc Console that to the old version had three columns.4:3 was back then included as an option. We have now edited our xml so it acts the same way whether its 4:3 or 16:9.
It is not an option for us to have 16:9 since the projector in the auditorium only supports 4:3. I am uploading the working XML if someone has the same problem.
