With CVP, the IOS can be configured to point to one primary media server (and one secondary), where it'll find audio files in some default directory.
Will specifying a default audio path in CVP VXML Studio override the media server settings?
If I don't include a default audio path, and only use relative URI's (or just audio file names), will they be relative to the IOS's media server path, or retrieved from the CVP VXML Server, or from the IOS?
Thanks!

Hi Janine,
Please refer to your voice browser documentation and/or Cisco TAC for details about how your platform handles relative audio URLs in this situation.
However, you can test this behavior with a flat VoiceXML page (e.g. outside of CVP VXML Server) that attempts to access an audio file using a relative path. If that works, then it will also work when implemented using CVP Studio. If you do not specify a default audio path in CVP Studio, then the URL you specify in audio items will be provided in the VoiceXML as-is (just like the flat VoiceXML page just mentioned).

Vance
