Does anyone know if there is a technical reason why Finesse cannot support Direct Preview and can anyone from Cisco confirm if they think when Direct Preview will be supported?

Direct Preview requires coding changes on the Finesse side. It is not just a testing effort. At this point, we don't know exactly which release will include direct preview. It will definitely not be in 10.0 and unlikely for 10.5.
