Hi Team,
in 2.5., it was possible to configure in the settings of the document library portlet various settings, such as which default (sub)folder should be displayed, if I use various folders in the document library. This allowed to use the document library portlet multiple times and display for example in various tabs already predefined subfolders automatically. With 3.x, this feature was removed, the settings of the document portlet do not allow to edit this anymore. Is it planed to add this feature in the future again (e.g. with an enhancement request)?

Yes, we can havee an enhancement request for this. But not sure whether they are really going to address this since they had decided to remove that feature.

I had a talk with our DE's regarding this. They said that they have removed this feature in
albani because of a sticky behavior. In albani, when a
user selects a folder and move away to a different page and then come back,
user will see same selected folder and its content. Concept of root folder will
contradict this feature, because earlier root folder used to decide what to
display, when user access document library.
In short, we can’t add root
folder feature back. However, we can think of something else on similar lines.
Let's see what alternative they can think about this.
