Created by: Till Steinbach on 12-11-2013 03:03:07 AM Hi all,
I'm currently trying to improve navigation in my menu that has multiple pages. I want to use the NavKeys to walk through the pages. I added the following to the IPPhoneMenu: <KeyItem><Key>NavRight</Key><URL>http://10.11.2.250/phone/directory.php?book=1.xml&offset=30</URL></KeyItem>
But nothing happens when pressing the button. Any hints? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your Help! Best regards Till
Subject: RE: Event Handler for Keypad Keys Replied by: David Staudt on 12-11-2013 03:13:18 PM I can confirm this behaviour testing via IP Communicator. As I think all of the CiscoIPPhone XML objects support some type of on-screen scrolling (Image objects probably excepted), I suspect the Nav buttons are captured first by the UI to facilitate that. If it didn't, users would be unable to scroll long text or menu objects (without first triggering the KeyItem URL) - so I suspect this limitation is by design. The docs/XSD could use some cleanup to avoid confusion.
