Have only managed to get the hellow world sample (per the guide here) working.

WHen adding the oAUth sample, I fillin the key and secret (doubled checked to be right) but I dont get the subsequent grant access dialog as mentioned. Instead it just says "OAuth Approval required" in the gadget display.

WHen trying the following gadget, it prompts for the key and secret every time I reload the page containing it.

Then when trying the profile sample , I get this after filling in key and secret:

Something went wrong: Unable to retrieve consumer key ==== Original request: GET /quadopen/api/rest/users/@me Host: localhost X-Shindig-AuthType: oauth Accept: application/json X-Forwarded-For: ::1 X-shindig-dos: on ===

Got some success today - managed to get the oAuth sample working on a different instance. The failed attempt yesterday was on the developer edition of webexsocial. Todays success was on my full instance of WES. Main difference was that I used the WES server hostname instead of local host everywhere (had to edit the gadget xml files and specify specific call back URL for API consumer request).

Now It does work, BUT I tried adding the other gadgets to the same page , and it seems to not like this - is this expected ? And for the second time I get in a situation where there are two oAuth dialogs popped up, the active one doesn't let me submit . This effectively locks Quad on a dialog I cant dismiss. I have to rename the gadgets folder and restart Quad to get back in to clean up.  Seems a little unstable in this regard. Anyone else seen this ? Does each Gadget require a separate API consumer ?

Hi Ben,

Each gadget requires a separate API consumer.

Thanks,
Adrienne
