I know that through CLI I can isssue a
xconf cameras camera 1 flip: on
command which will flip teh image top to bottom. Is there any reason not to do this, and mount the camera upside down?

Hi Andy,
Yes, this function is used in situations where the camera is mounted upside down, like in a T3 for instance.
