Dear All,
I want to play a moving text on the IP Phone screen,
I know that the services pane on the ip phone screen supports only static objects.
but can i play the moving text on the call pane ? or
can i do this with midlets? if yes where could i start from?

Moving text/animations will definitely be possible with J2ME/Midlets. We are finishing up early testing with select partners for this, so stay tuned in the coming months for announcements on the availability of an open Midlet SDK for advanced Cisco phones.

any updates on the moving text feature. Also, if i want to add a scroller (like a horizontal bar) on the screen to be displayed either on the front screen or at all times, is it possible to do that?

J2ME/Midlet support for the wireless Cisco IP phones (7921/7925) will be launching within the next couple weeks, however support for the desk phones is still TBD.
