I have deployed a TMS 12.6 for a customer who is mainly using TANDBERG EDGE 95 endpoints in F8.2 version. The customer had a phone book in his previous version of TMS (11.8) so I have created a new phone book in the 12.6 version using a 'Manual List' method.
Combined with the 'All Systems' default phone book this gives a complete and coherent phone book and is set on systems registered on TMS 12.6 ... and the customer has found a bug I had never seen before.
If you press the directory button on the remote control, the sub menus "Placed Calls, Missed Calls, Received Calls" are displyed and then the entries of the phone book are shown below.
Just after pressing the directory button on the remote control, if you press the down arrow of the remote control everything goes well and you can navigate into the phone book entries without any issue.
However, if you start by pressing the up arrow instead of the down arrow of the remote control, it makes the whole phone book being truncated. Indeed, after pressing the up arrow, the displayed entries are not the last entries of the phone book as it should be. If you navigate into the phone book with up and down arrows, a lot of entries are missing.
Apparently, this bug was in TMS 11.8. Is it a known bug of the 12.6 version ?

Hi Laurent,
this sound more like an issue with the F8.2 software to me.
We have fixed several phonebook related bugs in F9.0, can you try to upgrade to see if you still have the same issues?

I made a mistake in my first post ; with endpoints in F8.2, the bug was not seen with the 11.8 version (apparently but I did not see it by myself) but it is present with 12.6 version.
I am going to talk about upgrading the endpoints in F9 with the customer but I do not think they will want to.

Hello,
We have found another Bug with Phonebook on MXP.. and it seems it has not been fixed with F9.0.1.
When searching for a string, the MXP will never find any string with "-" (Minus) in the name.
example:
searching for "Room1" in the phonebbok will result in displaying all systems with "room1" in the name.
searching for "Room-1" will never display any results, but there are names in the phonebook with exactly that name.
another example:
searching for "1" will display all names with "1" in the name
searching for "-" will not display a name, but most roomnames have "-" included.
Searching within the webinterface works fine.
