Hi,
My Client has an installation using HDMI out of the Tandberg codec into an NEC Multeos M46.
Everything works fine....except that during a long VC (~40min+), the Multeos turns itself off. The VC is still in session when the unit is powered back up.
ALL the internal power shutdown and standby functions of the Mutleos have been disabled/switched off in the menu.
The screen does not shut down when using any other input type, eg RGBHV/XGA.
It doesn't shut down when a different HDMI source is used.
Any guesses as to why the screen shuts down.
Could there be an issue with the EDID.
I was informed by NEC that there was an identical issue with a 52" Multeos connected to Tandberg codec in the recent past and was fixed by Tandberg by installing a patch or software upgrade.
Location is Sydney Australia
Thanks
