Created by: Arne Kampesæter on 24-03-2011 09:46:52 AM I`ve just updated my C60 to 4.1.0 and after some fiddling it now seems to communicate with other codecs. But I can`t connect to it using either http or https. I get a HTTP 500 server error when I try either of the two ways. This also means that the TMS if unable to connect to my system. Serial comm is no problem. I`ve looked through all the menus I could relate to this, read the release notes, but can`t find anything to help me.
Does anyone have a tip ?

Backup your config and doing a factory reset could be worth a try. Please open a support case with TAC with xconfiguration/xstatus printouts if you don´t succeed.

Btw: How can I do a full backup of my system without TMS ? And also, a restore...

To backup the configuration: do a copy of the /base/mnt/active/config.db scp root@codecIP:/mnt/base/active/config.db /localFolder
To restore : copy the backed up config.db back into the codec
A small possibility is also that the web server has crashed completely, in this case you may have to do the upgrade again
so my suggestions, 1. factory reset 2. do the upgrade again Please refer to the API guide for TC4 for API commands
Good luck!
Subject: RE: No http response from C60 Replied by: Arne Kampesæter on 24-03-2011 02:05:09 PM Hi again, It was difficult to do a backup, as I was unable to login as root (at least I didn`t figure it out...) So I did a factory resets anyway, and took a chance that it would ok. It did... It is a standalone system, and I had all the settings in a txt-file, so it wasn`t that much job to reprogram it. However a strange problem. I hope it doesn`t appear the next time I have to upgrade. Then You guys can come and do the job for me
