This is more of a question than a request. Will comments to posts allow attachments in future releases? And if so, will this allow attachments to be included in post/comments when using Email Integration?
I have a use case where we would like to be able to get email notification of a shared post, and be able to reply via email which includes an attachment. Currently if someone replies to a post via email and includes an attachment, there is no mention of the attachment at all. The post does not track attachments or the fact that there was an attachment at all. Many times, a post may be asking for more info and a response could be done faster via an attachment.
OK, now that I ran thru the use case, I would like to formally request this as an enhancement request.

I'd like to second this one!! There is no way to enable 'attachments' for 'guest' users on Discussion forums which causes issues with email integration as Rod outlined.

Hi Rod,
AFAIK, there is no such plan right now. Do you want to have an enhancement request for this? But there is no guarantee that they are going to address that.
