Hi Folks, I have a problem with one particular Key Click command. I'm trying to emulate the '*' key to point a "." into an IP address but it's not working.

Here's what I'm trying:
xCommand Key Click Key:Star

That doesn't work but all the other Key Click commands I use do.
such as:
xCommand Key Click Key:9

Does anyone know why the 'Star' one wouldn't work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Mark,

well - to be honest - my biggest worry is why you are using key commands in the 1st place. We really discourage the usage of key commands as there is always a direct command to do whatever you want the codec to do, e.g. to dial an IP address you'll issue
1xCommand Dial Number: "123.123.123.123"

but if you absolutely absolutely neeeeed to do it, this is a recipe:

1xcommand Key Press key: "Square"
2....wait 200ms
3xcommand Key Press key: "1"
4xcommand Key Release key: "Square"

David
