hi
i have an SX20 being controlled via a Crestron AV3 & IPAD. When i dial an audio call the SX20 initiates 2 audio calls it then connects the 1st of thses calls but cant connect the 2nd resulting in both calls being dropped this means that we are unable to use the SX20 for audio calls.
The crestron module only sends the xCommand Dial Number: [number entered] once and i have tried 2 different SX20 units with the same results. However i have 4 other rooms witht the same equipment/same crestron module where this issue does not occur.
Has anyone got any thoughts? Please help

Hi David
The SX20 is running TC6.2.0B1616 with just SIP Audio.
I havent checked the call history or the xStatus call so im not sure if the codec is actually dialing 2 calls ; it just shows that is dialing the "phone number" via the OSD then show "call 1 connected" then "call 2 cannot connect" which is when it drops both calls or disconnects call 1.
I will try your suggested checks when i am back on site thanks.
I am wondering if its is actually a problem with the USB to serial adaptor and am going to try swapping that out when i get to site as well
Thanks for you quick response
Regards
Martin

Hi Martin,
that sounds strange and not something that I have seen before.
Which software version is running on the SX20?
When you say audio calls is this using the Cisco ISDN Link, an ISDN Gateway or just SIP Audio?
Also, when it happens can you check what the command "xstatus call" reports back? Is the codec actually trying to dial two calls?
Also check the call history to verify that two calls are actually being placed ("xcommand CallHistory get DetailLevel: full") and what cause codes are reported as errors.
Regards,
David
