If I activate the Layout button on the remote and choose “EQUAL PARTICIPANTS”, it shows FAR END [full screen] on Monitor 1, and NEAR END [full screen] on Monitor 2. I want to try and eliminate this intermediate step (choosing “EQUAL PARTICIPANTS”) by hard coding this as the default layout. The X Command I have tried in the telnet interface is as follows:xCommand Video PictureLayoutSet EqualThe error I receive is as follows:*r Result (status=Error): Reason: Unknown command XPath: /Video/PictureLayoutSet/Equal** endERRORThe command I am trying to access is the following:xCommand Video*r Result (status=Error): Reason: Unknown command XPath: /VideoxCommand Video PictureLayoutSet CallId: <0..65534> LayoutFamily(r): <auto/equal/fullscreen/presentationlargespeaker/presentationsmallspeaker>** endERRORCan you let me know if you can assist? Apparently our client on site has got it working where they never see a black screen on monitor 2 (they either see local view or PC Presentation on monitor 2). I have not be able to get this to happen.ThanksJeevan VarugheseSubject: RE: Tandberg C20: Xcommand Replied by: David Bruun-Lie on 19-01-2010 01:22:49 PMHi Jeevan,You've nearly got it. The command you are after is:1xcommand Video PictureLayoutSet LayoutFamily: equal
In the current version of TC software you will have to issue that command each time a call is connected so you will need a control system to do this. The good news is that we will be adding the possibility to hard code your own layout for different scenarios, like e.g. "selfview on, dual screen, one remote site, presentation off" => equalBest Regards,DavidSubject: RE: Tandberg C20: Xcommand Replied by: Jeevan Varughese on 19-01-2010 09:36:27 PMHi David,Thank you for the correct command, it worked perfectly.Couple questions:1) How do you control the C20 with a Control system (i.e crestron). The only RS-232 port is occupied by the camera. Is it done via IP? 2)Apparently my end-user has been able to get the C20 to do the following(without control system):They dial an IP address and once the codec connects, near end is on monitor 2, far end is on monitor 1 (OSD on here as well) without them having to access the layouts and change the layout to "EQUAL PARTICIPANTS".When they push PRESENTATION, the PC goes to monitor 2 and monitor 1 has Far End (FULL SCREEN) and Near End (PIP).Any ideas how they were able to do this? When I initially connect the call, I have to push the layout button and choose EQUAL PARTICIPANTS to have Far End on monitor 1 and Near End on Monitor 2 Thanks in advanceJeevan
