Hi,

there is a great tcl script for emergency calls under
http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/EEM?page=eem&fn=script&scriptId=2061
ip-phone (DN example 4711) dials 911. In this case a syslog message is created and sent via mail to an appropriate reciptient (e.g. recption) saying that 4711 dialed 911. Is there a way to extend the script that the IP-address of the calling phone (here 4711) will be also included in the message?

Thanks

Holger

Hi Holger,

Yes, it is possible to retrieve the IP-address of the calling phone by using the following information tag
leg_remoteipaddress.
Description:
------------
Returns the remote IP address of the endpoint from which the call is received. If the IP address is not available, an empty string is returned.
Syntax:
-------
infotag get leg_remoteipaddress <leg-id>

Thanks,
Anusha

How can I get the IP Address of a calling phone on a CallManager cluster that is trunked to the gateway?

We are only talking about protocals here(SIP,SCCP...ect), as long as you can make something communicate with CME. If you can make something ring phone registered on CME or passing router as voice gateway to 3rd party destination, you can trigger Tcl IVR script in Cisco Voice Gateway.

Thanks !

Sorry to interrupt your topic, but reading this one I'm wondering if istead of Ip phone you can add PC with some appropriate software?
