Created by: Jason Schwefel on 07-08-2013 08:41:42 AM I have tried on our corp WebEx to schedule a meeting with the URL API but it fails if I try to include any type of telephony support (Dial In or Dial Out). If I schedule it as a screen share only (with audio through the computer) it works fine. If I try to edit said meeting to include dial-in/out it fails with the following error message: RS=NoSupportTelephony
Everything works fine in the sandbox/testing WebEx, so it has to be on my companies end. Note that I can schedule meetings with dial-in through Outlook and the web interface.
Has anyone run in to this or know how to fix it? I would like to be able to give our admin a clear and simple "this is the setting(s) you need to change to make this work.
Thank you,
Jason

This error indicates that either the site or the host lacks appropriate telephony privileges. It would require further details to isolate the exact reason, including sample request, WebEx site URL, and host username.

If I have TC set to anything other than 0 it fails.
Please let me know if you need any other info.

I would need to know your actual WebEx site URL to verify site and user audio permissions. If you are not comfortable providing this email in public forum, you can send it to webex-meetings-api-dev@cisco.com. The error suggests that your site or account does not have call-back teleconferencing option with WebEx audio.
