Can anyone tell me why the user.media.id variable in my ICM routing scripts might be empty?
I checked the ECC variable listin the Config Manager, and user.media.id is defined and the Enabled checkbox is selected.
When I pass user.media.id to my VxmlServer application, the variable's empty. The other variables (ANI, DNIS) that I'm passing are populated though.
Thanks, Janine

I recently saw this when using internal CTI route points for testing. Dialing from external numbers works always, dialing from internal numbers via route points doesn't. Our vendor recommended this but I've not tried it:
"change the properties Set Variable tab of Value to include the Object type of Call and the Variable of RouterCallKey, RouterCallKeySequenceNumber and RouterCallDay. You will need to play with these a bit and test to see if you get the internal call information or not.
Test to see if you get both internal and external data in the reports or if this breaks the external reporting."
