I understand that the TTC5 Video Switch is designed to work with the 3000 and 6000MXP but...
I have a request to add a second camera to an existing Edge95 installation.
What would stop it from being used with an Edge95?
- no control of the switch from the Edge
- no PTZ control of the second camera from the Edge
- would there be some other problem caused by switching the video
If necessary there is an AMX control system in the room which could be configured to provide control:
- switch control using VISCA commands on Data port 3 as described in the switch documentation
- PTZ control via RS232 directly to the camera.
Or is there some other option?

Hi Donald,
The Edge doesn't have the API necessary to control the TANDBERG Video Switch (TVS). As you say you can control it using the data port 3 through direct Visca commands sent from an AMX control system. However since the TVS has never been supported for the Edge from TANDBERG, we have never tested to see if you get video when connecting it to the Edge.
