Hi Vladimir,

* You can play audio to the calling party when the specified called party is busy handling some other call saying right now the called party is busy in another call.
* You can also opt for the MOH option

Thanks,
Anusha

Hi!
I would like to implement next via tcl script customisation, for all calls from POTS I will ask external application via WS for status of extension and in case of more then 1 active call I need to change default ring-back tone to another one.
Is it possible?

Hi Vladimir,

You cannot change the ring back tone,by default you get busy tone.Instead of busy tone you can have a customized tone in the following ways.

1) You can try playtone API.
2) You can try mediaplay API.
you can hava look at sample programs

Thanks
Vijay

Hi Vijay,
if extension defined as ext with mutimple call apperance and busy trigger >1 - it always will be ringback-tone and not busy.
What is entry-point for customisation on VG for my requirement?
Where I can find samples ?
Thanks

Hi Vladimir,

Here is the link for sample programs:
http://developer.cisco.com/web/vgapi/docs

The entry point could a TCL script,it can cut the ringback tone and play a different tone or media.

Here is the TCL-IVR programming guide, helps you to understand those API

Thanks
Vijay

Hi Vladimer,

AFAIK,It will work in the way you given.I am not sure about the TAPI part.
Unless the script does not provide any leg setup,it wont change the routing path.

BTW, the Playtone API will work on POTS leg only.Mediaplay API works in both

Thanks
Vijay

Hi Vijay,
thank you very much for the help.
Please confirm the folowing:
1.I will change the POTS leg on Cisco VG that all incoming calls will be run via my new custom TCL script
2.From TCL script I will check status of destination - Cisco ext ( I hope I can do it via Web Service request to my TAPI application) and in case that ext have already 1 active call I will change default ring-back tone to custom waiting tone
3.All routing will be same and not changed - only tone
Thanks
