Created by: Ben Sunderland on 11-11-2011 02:00:12 AM Hi, WebEx Social 2.5.1 SR2 w/ UCM 7.1 We have got click to call working with web dialer, but to get each user working with it, they have to go in to settings and web dialer prefs and click save. They dont change anything or click 'test' like it says in the guide (there is no test button and they only have one device entry). Once they have saved , it they works. The admin guide says new users need to go in there and click 'Test" next to the devices. WE dont have that button. Is the lack of test button a bug ? Is there a way to get this working without having users fiddle around in settings. regards Ben

Hi Ben, It's really strange that you are not getting the "Test call" button in your case. We checked in 2.5.1 and found that is present. In order to troubleshoot it why that button is missing we need debug level "Click-to-call Interface" logs. So can you please provide us the same? To collect the logs you need to go to Settings --> Server Administration --> Log Properties tab. Here you see on the first page itself the component "Click-to-call Interface". Select the node that you want to debug from the dropdown and hit Go. Set the maximum file size and the Number of backup files as required so that the logs do not roll over fast. Now for "Click-to-call Interface", choose the trace level to "Debug" from the dropdown. Then can collect the logs from /mnt/auto/diagnostics/logs/WebEx Social and will be named WebEx Socialxxx.log.gz. Please get back with the above logs. Thanks. Ratnadeep.

Is the result of pressing test and saving , stored in the DB? and so can this be automated? Our users will only ever have one device in their list and so the step is kinda redundant not to mention clunky (from their point of view).
