It is important, at the beginning of the Plan phase, to touch base with all interested parties and let them know what kind of information they need to provide you in order to move smoothly through this phase and into the Design phase. It is also a good idea to review your overall planning approach for the project up front, along with any critical path items or deadlines that might affect the overall project schedule.
