How to avoid one-way voice

Resolution

To avoid one-way voice, perform these steps:

1. Make sure the ip routing command is enabled on the Cisco IOS  gateway and routers.
2. Check the basic IP routing.
3. Bind the H.323 signaling to a specific IP address on the Cisco IOS gateway and routers.
4. Cut through two-way audio early by issuing thevoice rtp send-recvcommand on the Cisco IOS gateway and routers.
5. Check the compressed Real Time Protocol (cRTP) settings on a link-by-link basis on the Cisco IOS gateway and routers.
6. Verify the minimum software level for Network Address Translation (NAT) on the Cisco IOS gateway and routers.
7. Disable the voice-fastpath command on AS5350 and AS5400.
8. Verify one-way audio by issuing the Cisco IOS debug ip udp command.
