How to increase the recording length for the subscriber greeting in Cisco Unity

Core Issue

In Cisco Unity, by default, users can record a greeting up to 90 seconds.

Resolution

The Class of Service greetings setting specifies the maximum length of greetings. To increase the default greeting length for a subscriber, perform these steps:

1. Open the Cisco Unity System Admin page. Determine the Class of Service of the subscriber.
2. Go to the Greetings section of Class of Service.
3. Change the value of the Maximum greeting length, in seconds parameter to the desired length. The maximum value can be set to 999 seconds.

This procedure changes the greeting length for the subscriber using the particular  Class of Service. To change this only for a particular subscriber, create a new Class of Service, and use it for that subscriber.
