Devnet Certification Path

I work as a Network Security Engineer, currently I have the CCNP Security. I would like to learn about devnet to improve my skills and take advantage of APIs and automation.

Which exam is recommended to start this path ? the Cisco Certified Devnet Associated (200-901 DEVASC) or the 

Implementig Automation for Cisco Security Solutions (300-735 SAUTO) that is a CCNP Security exam related to programming ?

There are no formal prerequisites for DevNet Associate certification, but you should have a good understanding of the exam topics before taking the exam. Ideally, DevNet Associates candidates have experience with Python programming. 

I would recommend to go with Cisco Certified Devnet Associated (200-901 DEVASC) directly. Best of luck.
