Trouble getting VPN to connect to Devnet

I've tried to connect from two separate computers using AnyConnect client and the Devnet lab vpn connection settings provided via email.  As soon as I click Ok, it blanks out the password field but doesn't provide any details/error msgs.

@dhaege001 thanks, i see your issue now. There are a few possible reasons for this

  • Password is copied/pasted wrong
  • The Sandbox has provisioned with errors (check your reservation via the cmd window this should show any errors)
  • The reservation has expired (check time remaining on the reservation)
  • AnyConnect has an issue (reinstall AnyConnect)
  • The sandbox has a reservation issue
  • Firewall ports are blocking the connection from being started (CP port 443 is required for SSL VPN with Anyconnect, UDP port 443 is required for DTLS over SSL but this is optional. Ephemeral ports are required also, the range is anywhere between 20100 and 20354 - this might be extended you reservation will show you the outbound port)

Would suggest if all those things do not help open a support ticket with the ENG team Report Sandbox Issue

Hope this helps.

@bigevilbeard Here's a screenshot.  The moment I try the Cisco provided password, it says Login Failed.

@bigevilbeard You're exactly correct about the reservation expiring.  I didn't realize (newbie) when you first create one it defaults to 5 hrs.

@dhaege001 lucky guess!

Glad you are sorted.
