Hi Team,
We have downloaded and installed the Cisco Diagnostic Bridge software (.ova) file on VMware ESXi 5.5
While login to My Diagnostics UI with our CCO ID we get an error “Unable to connect to the Diagnostic Bridge,Please ensure the following:
- The Diagnostic Bridge service is active and reachable from your network connection.
- If you are using a self-signed certificate for the Diagnostic Bridge, visit the connected TAC support page for more information.”
Checked the following to confirm:
(1). Before login to the MY Diagnostics UI, opened Firefox browser typed https:// diagnostic bridge_IP address:5001 accepted the self- signed certificate. During the first attempt received a security certificate error message in the browser, accepted the message and clicked continue. Then on Firefox browser clicked ‘Advanced button ‘and clicked ‘Add Exception’. Firewall port 5001 is opened.
(2). From the diagnostic bridge command line root prompt executed command systemctl restart network.service
From this same prompt typed “ping www.cisco.com” ping response received.
(3)After this, opened browser typed https://cway.cisco.com/mydiagnostics logged in with CCO ID (daredevil247) tried to add the Diagnostic bridge IP address and credentials but it failed.
(4) Tried using a private/privacy browser, got same error
Please suggest how to resolve the issue.
