Can anyone help with this? I have a customer who has implemented our IPCC enterprise solution. The are running into issues with Agent Auto Answer and want to know if Zip tone is supported, please read below. If this is supported is there any reference doc available to help them set this up? Any information you can provide is helpful. Thanks
I see that Zip tone and Auto answer are supported on CCM however my customer would like to use these features on IPCC enterprise with his call center agents. He found the Auto Answer on the Agent Desktop setting but he is not getting any Zip tone. Can someone help me with the support of the ZIP Tone. Is it supported? What version of ICM? If not what are the plans in the future? It does not help for the agents to get the call with out getting some sort of tone to let them know it is there. They are running ICM 5.0 SR8 ES11 and CCM 3.3(4) ES40. thanks for the help!

Supported? Yes, CCM supports this feature. Auto Answer with Zip Tone are new features in Cisco CallManager 3.1. Auto Answer allows the user to have an incoming call automatically answered, causing the phone to go off-hook when an incoming call is received. It may be used on either a headset or the speakerphone of Cisco IP Phone models 7940 and 7960.

Is this feature available? we are on Callmanager 3.3(4) ES40 and ICM 5 SR8 ES11. My business users are wanting it due to high RNA. If available.

Yes Auto-Answer are supported in 3.3(4). This feature must be enabled on the Line or the Device Pool, phone must be rest after the change. As stated above it is only available with the Speaker or Headset.
