Hello everyone!
I have a strange problem regarding Cisco Unified CCX Database service.
Situation is the following:
UCCX 8.5.1 in HA Cluster
And from time to time, on 1st UCCX Cisco Unified CCX Database is going OUT OF SERVICE.
In CLI utils service list shows that service is STARTED, but in Web-Interface is OUT OF SERVICE.
Whether I restart it through CLI or Web, it stays in INITIALIZING status in Web, but in CLI is STARTED!!
After restart of the system everything goes back like it should be.
Don't see anything unusual in logs.
Any similar experiences? .... Any help or hint is appreciated!!
Thank you
A

I know this is an old thread, however, I just had this issue on UCCX 11.5.1. The same issue as the OP. Here is my fix:
Login to the publisher under Cisco Unified CCX Serviceability.
Navigate to Tools->Control Center - Network Services
Verify Cisco Unified CCX Database shows as Out-of-Service
Navigate to Tools->Data Store Control Center->Replication Servers.
Disable CDS and HDS. This is a non-service-impacting event. Just don't try to make changes while its disabled
Navigate to Tools->Data Store Control Center->DataStores.
Confirm that only publisher was present.
Go back to Replication Servers page and select Reset Replication.
Wait 15 minutes and then re-enable CDS and HDS.
Check for fix by navigating back to the Data Store Control Center and confirm that both servers were listed as "yes" under Read Access AND Write Access.
Navigate to Tools->Control Center - Network Services
Verify Cisco Unified CCX Database shows as In-Service

On a UCCX 11.5 box, these steps corrected the exact symptoms as described; Excellent post.

Just had this same issue on 11.5.1 today in my call centre.
Will these steps to fix the issue cause an outage? That's really the part I need to gauge. Right now they are only limited to changing agents on the interface being blocked - but I need to know if it's going to affect services so I know if I should wait till end of day or not... Anyone?

This is due to another known defect CSCvg58622
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvg58622
Restart of "Cisco Unified CCX Cluster View Daemon" in off hours will fix the issue on the affected node.
