CVP script trigger - run CVP script repeatly

Hi CVP expert,

Is there a way to trigger CVP script not only from a call but from http request or timer? I am looking for a way to run CVP script automatically.

I have done this on UCCX script by using a HTTP request to trigger the script.

Not really, that's something which is missing.

to some extents you can invoke VXML application from web browser, if you have clear understanding of VXML and HTTP communication.

Now coming back to your original question, it depends what exactly you want to do with it.

if you want to generate a actual call to you CVP app, you can use something like tropo(cloud based IVR). tropo exposes HTTP interface to invoke application on it. and that invoked application can call into CVP number.

same way as tropo, you can also create a application which talks to CUCM over JTAPI.

the application on one hand exposes HTTP interface and on other hand initiates the call from CUCM with JTAPI to CVP or any other devices.
