historical reports and nat

Can I have the ipcc server behind NAT router and a client on the internet (incidentally not behind nat)? I tried it to no avail. It seems to authenticate, but something else fails.

I already read the document about proxy server settings and tcp port 6293. I did a static nat of the whole machine just as a test and it still didn't work.
