While trying to run the setup for acitoolkit (python setup.py install) i am getting following error message:

C:\Users\Image\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\include\pyconfig.h(59): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'io.h': No such file or directory error: Setup script exited with error: command 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\BuildTools\VC\Tools\MSVC\14.28.29910\bin\HostX86\x64\cl.exe' failed with exit status 2

Could anyone please help to fix this issue?

Thanks,

Qamber

There seem's to be quite a few posts online about issues with pip on Windows 10, you can try googling "pyconfig.h Cannot open include file: 'io.h'".  Try defining the environment variable INCLUDE pointing to the location of io.h - allowing the VS compiler to locate the header.

Hope this helps.
