Learn how to use the NSO vBranch Function Pack and Cisco’s new NSO modules for Ansible integration
Through well-defined use cases, this hands-on lab will show you how to use NSO to do Plug-n-Play provisioning and onboard and deploy VNFs to a NFVIS/vBranch CPE system.
We will then demonstrate how an Ansible playbook, using the new NSO modules working with the NSO vBranch FP, can deploy multiple vBranch systems, including application automation of NSO deployed, Linux based VNFs using Ansible’s Linux application based automation features.
Prerequisites
The student should be familiar with and have hands-on experience using basic NSO capabilities and using basic Linux commands. This is a hands-on session where each student will be given a training pod from Cisco’s dCloud training environment.
When?
This lab is on the Thursday (June 14) from 3.30 pm to 6pm.
Proctors/Presenters
John Mullooly, Fredrik Jansson and Eli Williams
