Optimizing Network Performance and Troubleshooting with CNC- Routing Analytics and IP Measurements with PCA
Abstract: Routing Analytics ( RA) is a next-generation Crosswork application designed to help network operators gain real-time visibility into network topology changes, assess their impact on traffic routing, and correlate these changes with key performance metrics. By providing actionable insights, IPM enables operators to optimize network performance, quickly identify and resolve issues, and enhance overall service reliability. IP Measurements with Provider Connectivity Assurance ( PCA) and Crosswork RA further enhances these capabilities by offering a full ECMP tree, upper and lower bound benchmark latencies, and continuous path monitoring reflecting real-time topology changes. This integration strengthens key use cases, including: Traffic Engineering and Optimization: End-point analysis for TE policy creation and continuous monitoring with TE policy validation. Service Health: Improved visibility into transport health when policies are undefined and correlation of service degradation with network state and topology changes for troubleshooting. Service and Transport Topology Mapping: Visualization of underlay IP paths for services without TE policies. With these enhancements, Crosswork with Routing Analytics combined with PCA , empowers operators with deeper insights and improved decision-making for efficient network operations.
