Among other engineering requirements, all Cisco Prime products deliver consistent usability through an intuitive user experience.The Cloud and Systems Management Technology Group (CSMTG) is moving each of its software products to Cisco Prime in phased approach over time and there are now approximately forty different Cisco Prime management products across Borderless Networks, Collaboration, Data Center, and other architectures.
Today,we are introducing another new software product in the Prime portfolio: Cisco Prime Service Catalog.
CISCO PRIME SERVICE CATALOG IS HERE
We are pleased to announce the renaming of the Cisco Cloud Portal and Cisco Workplace Portal products to Cisco Prime Service Catalog. In keeping with the Unified Management model, we are reintroducing the former newScale technology under this new name to reflect the solution’s ability to provide unified self--service portal and service catalog interface for any type of IT service from data centertodesktop.
Whether end users want to order new smart phone and Jabber account, or an entire application development environment, Cisco Prime Service Catalog will help to streamline the ordering, tracking, and service delivery process. This solution reduces operating costs and improves enduser productivity by helping to deploy standardized service options through unified IT storefront.The modern user experience delivered by Cisco Prime Service Catalog will increase satisfaction with IT services, while ensuring greater responsiveness to business needs.
This new product name will be introduced publicly at Cisco Live in Orlando next month with demo of the Cisco Prime Service Catalog in the Prime booth. Between now and then, we will rollout updated sales enablement materials and new marketing collateral.
