ACI Spine Firmware Upgrade

Hello - I am using 3.2(4e) version. I am going to add a new Spine to the ACI Fabric. How to upgrade the new Switch. Should I use Firmware Group or Maintenance Group. Looks like the Maintenance group don't allow me to select individual Switch and it is for a group of Switch. 

How to Firmware upgrade only one Switch in the ACI ? Thanks

Hi,

Actually you need both firmware and maintenance groups:

• Firmware Group and Firmware Policy—A Firmware Group is a group of switches on which you configure a firmware policy. A Firmware Policy specifies the desired firmware version for switches in the group.

• Maintenance Group and Maintenance Policy—Applies for APIC releases before 4.x. A Maintenance Group is a group of switches on which you would configure a Maintenance Policy. A Maintenance Policy specifies a schedule for upgrade.
