We need to connect several DS7080 (Hitachi) servers to a Cisco Nexus 9364C (bare metal, non QSA ports installed).

So we are thinking to use QSA-to-SFP+ converters to accomplish this task.

We found this at amazon

https://www.amazon.com/QSA-Adapter-Converter-CVR-QSFP-MAM1Q00A-QSA/dp/B082PSBS9S/ref=psdc_537316_t1_B07QH5DNLT

and plan to use https://www.amazon.com/QSA-Adapter-Converter-CVR-QSFP-MAM1Q00A-QSA/dp/B01LXHQZM3/ref=psdc_537316_t1_B07QH5DNLT?th=1

So my questions is, can this be a valid way to connect the servers at 10G ?

Thanks!

Hi @rbadilla

Yes, you can use the CVR-QSFP-SFP10G with any of the 10G SFPs listed here: https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/?npid=149

To check on which ports the SFP is supported in combination with the QSA, move the mouse over the blue icon. For example, the SFP-10G-SR is supported on all ports including the 65-66 which are SFP form factor.
