I am wondering if this is ok to have on the FIs in end host mode with uplinks to a vPC pair, an additional ethernet uplink to a backup switch. This new switch is to ensure that if the nexus vPC peer fails for any reason or requires downtime for an upgrade there is still connectivity from the UCS chassis.
I know it is not a standard design approach but it may still work? Any suggestion in favor or against this will be helpful!
