Hello everyone,
I am working on a new DC design. Here are some questions you definitely can help to find a right answer for.
1) In a TOR design, I am going to have a 93180YC-FX at the Top of each rack.
2) Servers are going to connect with NIC , HBA and , CNA
3) A couple of 9336C-FX2-E play distribution role.
4) I thought its a good Idea to use 1 x 40G ethernet uplink to each distribution switch and 2x 32G or .. uplink to FC fabric A and fabric B.
- Is it a good idea? Should I seperate Ethernet/FCoE from FC at this layer or all traffics supposed to be delivered to distribution and then to SAN network?
- As I described, there are different protocols in access layer, so I am looking for the most reliable and also cost-benefitable architecture to deliver them to upper layer. So, removing TOR SAN switch is the first step. Next ones needs your experience.
