This is probably a simple question, but I'm not a network engineer. I have 2 Seed SAN switches to DCNM and I've used a local account on the switch to discover those, and its found the adjoining switches. The question is what is the lowest role that can be used to find the switches. As it appears i need this under on all switches for it discover them all, but currently its the full admin role, and if I'm going to have 1 user account on all switches, i would prefer it to be a browse type account that if someone got the password couldn't do a real damage.
Also can i use the same account on Leaf switches to discover them in DCNM as well?
