I am working on a project where the cursomer would like to have the TRILL advantages on his Ethernet Fabric, but would like to also benefit from the latest Nexus switches family (9K). Would it be a correct affirmation that EVPN in the N9K family is a similar protocol to TRILL? I mean: EVPN has the full capacity of implementing all the functionality of the TRILL protocol (and therefore for this purpose might be considered a similar protocol) at the same time it is also much more flexible, capable, scalable and up-to-date than TRILL.
